The 1995 White House Initiative On Global Climate Change had announced an increase in global temperature of one degree Fahrenheit in the 115 year period between 1880-1995. This matches the temperature data published by NASA that began in 1880 and the CRU East Anglia and British Meteorology Office graphs which started in 1900, using an identical baseline of 59 degrees Fahrenheit (15 degrees Celsius), the average temperature for the period between 1951-1980.

The above is link to the a 1997 conference where Holdren, Gore and Karl spoke. The video opens with Holdren confirming a one degree Fahrenheit of warming up to 1997 but no mention of actual temperature. Karl of NOAA in that same year of 1997, rattled the cage in a report released shortly after the meeting when he announced that the NOAA global temperature for 1997 was 62.45 degrees Fahrenheit!! This is the sort of global warming rubbish being circulated during this period.

NASA dropped its average global temperature from 59.7 F in 1995 to 58 F in 1996 following “new data” produced by Dr Phil Jones the head scientist of CRU East Anglia. It was later claimed that the drop in temperature was orchestrated by the WMO but evidence presented by Just The Facts indicate that WMO had actually received a graph and data beforehand from Phil Jones co-author of the Hockey Stick. The WMO, who first published reports in 1993 referred to two different base lines and several anomalies but did not reveal an actual global temperature of anything until 2004.

According to The Earth-Atmosphere Energy Balance The earth-atmosphere energy balance is achieved as the energy received from the Sun balances the energy lost by the Earth back into space. In this way, the Earth maintains a stable average temperature and therefore a stable climate. 

Once they they realised that the temperature of the earth will remain stable on 59 F (15 C) they hatched a plan to post lower temperatures to provide a leeway to show warming up to a 15 C.

The above data was not available until the late 90’s and by then Billions had flowed towards it and those that were on the receiving end of grants “dug in” because there was no turning back. Those who had hitched their star to the global global warming theory lashed out at any one with a commonsense question. One group on the receiving end of large grants had asked the Government to use the RICO statute to prosecute people with an opposing view.

Now we have left wing teachers indoctrinating our children to become protesters against governments that are not doing enough to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. When will it end?

Earth Temperature in 1998 Is Reported at Record High

The above link to the 1998 climate report describes where the “scientists”, led by Dr Phil Jones of CRU East Anglia, who was also the co-Author of the Hockey Stick, convened a meeting where all the major authorities agreed to drop the global temperature from 59.80 F in 1995 down to 58 F 1998 !!
