Guterres said at a press conference in New York that “the era of global warming has ended; the era of global boiling has arrived”, declaring climate change “here and terrifying”.The narrative of ‘fear the climate’ has evolved over the decades. We have gone from panic about the hole in the ozone layer to the approaching ice age, and then into the hot tub. After global warming was interrupted by cooling periods, the UN settled on Climate Change to cover contingencies.

Activists turned this into an exploitative and threatening message of ‘Climate Justice’ – calling for those who disagreed with their green agenda to be financially and socially punished.

Now, as citizens tire of excessive Net Zero taxes and people rile against restrictions such as the UK’s hated Ulez system, the United Nations has returned with a piece of propaganda that takes the narrative of fear too far even for supporters. ‘The era of global warming has ended,’ said UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres.

‘The era of global boiling has arrived’ António Manuel de Oliveira Guterres, (born 30 April 1949) was a Portuguese politician and diplomat. He became the Secretary-General of the United Nations in 2017. Guterres was Prime Minister of Portugal from 1995 to 2002, as leader of the Socialist Party.
