NASA ALTERED IT’S BASELINE TEMPS

NASA dropped its average global temperature for the 1951-1980 baseline period by one degree Celsius, from 15 down to 14 degrees Celsius, but have retained the same anomalies in both graphs below with the 2022 average temperature now being shown at 14.89 C (58.80 F) in instead of 15.89 C (60.60 F). They were forced to lower global temperatures after new technology had enabled NASA to accurately measure planet temperatures, including the earth at 59 F (15 C).  Planet Specifications  The IPCC has not revealed exactly what the pre-industrial temperature was but according to World Meteorology Organistion (WMO) it was 13.73 C which means the dreaded plus 1.5 C will be 15.23 C (59.41 F) a temperature that had already been exceeded several times in the seventies, eighties and nineties. WMO posted a temperature of 15.18 C (59.32 F) for 2023.

The NASA GISS team chose the period of 1951-1980 as its baseline largely because the U.S. National Weather Service uses a three-decade period to define “normal” or average temperature. The GISS temperature analysis effort also began around 1980, so the most recent 30 years was 1951-1980. Their objective is to provide an estimate of temperature change that could be compared with predictions of global climate change in response to atmospheric carbon dioxide, aerosols, and changes in solar activity.

NASA have reverted to Celsius instead of Fahrenheit and should have revealed it was a 14 degree Celsius baseline on the lower graph itself, in addition there were no horizontal lines drawn across the graph and nothing on the right hand side to accurately read the exact anomaly without using a ruler.. No matter what baseline they choose to use all the community want to know is the actual temperature, fudging data to conceal the fact that the global temperatures of today are about the same as what they were in the seventies won’t help their warming cause or their own credibility.

It is all about jobs for educated derelicts. They won’t let go and it might take a generation before it collapses… especially now that they have big tech on side.
