NASA PLANETARY DATA MATCHES ARCHIVED TEMPERATURE RECORD

The 2024 average Global temperature at 15.20 degrees Celsius was virtually the same at 15.19 C when recorded by NASA in 1926 and identical to to the NASA baseline reference temperature of 15 C (59 F). According to NASA, Earth’s highest temperature occurred in 1990 when the average global temperature reached 59.81 C (15.45 C). NASA Global temperatures dropped slightly in 1995 when it posted the average temperature at 59.7 degrees, slightly below 1990 as the second warmest year since record-keeping began in 1866. Meanwhile the NASA voyager data had confirmed the Earth temperature at a stable 15 C (59 F).

There was no date provided on when the above chart was made available to the public except that it was updated in 2023. Incredibly, both British and U.S. agreed to drop the global average temperature in 1996 to 58 F, a one degree F above the new baseline temperature average for the period 1961-1990 at 57 F. “But the difference was within the margin of sampling error, and the two years essentially finished was neck and neck”. The NASA and NOAA  2023 temperatures were published at 15.09 C and 15.08 C respectively close to Earth’s Temperature of 15 C at the time of Voyagers 1 and 2 “Grand Tour”                 Planetary Fact Sheet         The Earth-Atmosphere Energy Balance

  1. Barry Woodful says:

The absorption of infrared radiation trying to escape from the Earth back to space is particularly important to the global energy balance. Energy absorption by the atmosphere stores more energy near its surface than it would if there was no atmosphere.

The average surface temperature of the moon, which has no atmosphere, is 0°F (-18°C). By contrast, the average surface temperature of the Earth is 59°F (15°C). This heating effect is called the greenhouse effect.

Morrison, who was given the treasurer post in the Malcolm Turnbull government, pumped $1.5 Billion into snowy 2. hydro and pledged support for net zero emissions at the Glascow climate conference. No surprise that they lost government.
