DREADED 1.5 C ABOVE PRE-INDUSTRIAL AT 13.76 C BEGAN 1N 193O’S
World average global temperatures have exceeded the much feared 15.26 C (59.47 F), (1.5 C above the WMO pre-industrial temperature of 13.76 C), on numerous occasions, as far back as the late 1930’s when Australia experienced catastrophic bush fires and flooding rains, when a severe drought occurred in United States that had led to a period of devastating dust storms that affected the southern plains region. Despite all our efforts, including the imposing of carbon dioxide reduction schemes such as the introduction of Net Zero, not to mention the Billions spent on renewables, global temperatures have still increased slightly from 15.26 C in the late 1930’s to 15.32 C in 1994. The 2024 WMO report indicates that global temperatures might have stabilized at 15.31 C (1.55 C above the pre-industrial of 13.76 C), too early to tell but encouraging.

Global Temperature In 1994
In 2024 the global average surface temperature was 15.31 C, slightly cooler than 1994 at 1.55 °C (with a margin of uncertainty of ± 0.13 °C) above the 1850-1900 average, according to WMO’s consolidated analysis of the six datasets. “This means that we have likely just experienced the first calendar year with a global mean temperature of more than 1.5°C above the 1850-1900 average at 13.76 C ” ? I am being ironical as you might have guessed in what has been a very sloppy con. The average global temperature today at 15.31 C is exactly the same as what was posted in 1994!
