ATOMIC BOMB & FIRESTORM BOMBING NO INCREASE IN EMISSIONS

During World War II, global CO 2 emissions dropped by about 17% overall, leading to a stalling of CO 2 growth in the 1940s. While military machinery emitted immense amounts of greenhouse gases, widespread rationing, civilian economic shifts, thought to have increased by the natural carbon absorption by the oceans caused by the temporary cooling . CO2 Levels During War Year

The 1940s Plateau: Historical CO 2 records (such as the data retrieved from the Law Dome Ice Core) show a surprising plateau where atmospheric concentrations stalled. Despite continued industrial output, including war armaments natural sinks (inc oceans) likely absorbed excess atmospheric carbon.

The Global Drop: The end of the war years brought a massive drop in emissions—one of the sharpest in history. The shift from a wartime to a peacetime economy led to a distinct, albeit temporary, interruption to upward global trend.

Carbon Dioxide is a trace occupying only 0.043 % of the Earth’s atmosphere. If you doubled it you would still have nothing!

  2. Fogarty says:

All the annual emissions shown in CO2 graphs are drawn at 45% degree angle giving the false impression that carbon dioxide emissions are out of control.

  3. Rudy says:

They conveniently blamed airborne particles reflecting heat away from the earth to explain the lack of warming in a thirty year period when emissions were at their highest level ever.
