WORLD EMISSIONS INCREASED AT AVERAGE 103 PPM PER 100 YEARS
Global emissions increased by only 14 ppm in the period 1940 to 1970, (311 ppm to 325 ppm) which resulted in a zero increase in world temperatures. This occurred despite a spectacular increase in industrial activity due to the manufacture of armaments, atomic bombs, the burgeoning motor car industry and household goods in a post war boom etc., during this period. Roger Revelle the co-author of the Cosmos_article and tutor of Al Gore advised in 1991 that: “The scientific Base for greenhouse warming was too uncertain to justify drastic action (Net Zero) at this time and advised we should look before we leap”.
1912 to 2012 it increased from 301 ppm to 394 ppm an increase of 93 ppm,
1913 to 2013 it increased from 301 ppm to 395 ppm an increase of 94 ppm,
1914 to 2014 it increased from 301 ppm to 397 ppm an increase of 96 ppm,
1915 to 2015 it increased from 302 ppm to 399 ppm an increase of 97 ppm,
1916 to 2016 it increased from 302 ppm to 403 ppm an increase of 101 ppm,
1917 to 2017 it increased from 302 ppm to 405 ppm an increase of 103 ppm,
1918 to 2018 it increased from 303 ppm to 410 ppm an increase of 107 ppm,

An average of just over one part per million over 100 years.

It is too late to save the disastrous $42 Billion Snowy Two, which, according to some experts, won’t deliver a megabyte of power. Initially it was planned to reduce emissions but later to combat climate change. It will be decades before it breaks even with the emissions it has already expended in construction let alone changing the climate.
