VERTICAL SCALE USED TO EXAGGERATE THE RATE OF CO2 EMISSIONS

The world’s carbon dioxide emissions have been grossly overstated in the graph below by the employment of a vertical scale of parts per million angle which is completely out of proportion to the grey line graph drawn correctly by NOAA at the bottom of this chart. The first occasion where a climate authority has shown that the rate of CO 2 increase can be illustrated within a height of half an inch!

Vertical and grey Line Graph Comparisons on Carbon Dioxide                                                                                   I

In the 50 year period from 1914 to 1964, which included two world wars and the arns race, carbon dioxide levels according to Historic Emissions below had increased by only 19 ppm. I had made a submission to our council and the answer I got was that particles in the air had reflected heat away from the Earth, I think they called them Aerosols apparently peculiar to that period.

Historic Emissions

AI Overview
Yes, global emissions rose significantly and almost constantly between 1914 and 1964, a period characterized by major industrial expansion following World War I and the post-WWII economic boom. This was part of a broader trend of increasing emissions that began with the Industrial Revolution.

Key Drivers and Trends:
Industrialization and Population Growth: The primary cause for the sustained increase was industrial growth and a rising population, predominantly in the United States and Europe.
Fossil Fuel Use: The expanding use of fossil fuels (coal and oil) to power manufacturing, transportation, and electricity generation directly contributed to the rise in atmospheric carbon dioxide levels.

Global Temperature Comparisons

There is no evidence of any lasting change in the earth average temperature of approximately 15 C (59 C), in fact the current average global temperature 15.31 C was exceeded back in the late 1980’s, when the IPCC was founded, and in the mid 1990’s when the same temperature of today was recorded.

The new year is just hours away. Things are pretty bad at the moment, but as it was once explained “the darkest hour is just before the dawn”. It’s easy to get consumed by the chaos and to feel that there is no way out, and there is surely more pain to come. But, as I’ve been pointing out in recent articles, there is cause for optimism. The green agenda is clearly weakening, and moreover, the darkness has caused people to open their eyes wider. If you want proof of both of these two claims, compare the conversation in even mainstream news media of today with that of just a few year ago, and indeed with the pre-covid era.

They are still in our schools with left wing teachers targeting young students and also invitations to submit manuscripts against CO2 the plant food and oxygen giveth trace gas.

We are paying countries by importing the cheaper goods made from the coal we export.
Ben Pile is probably correct but the fanatics won’t go quietly….a lot of mopping up required.

This is the answer I recieved from the Council re CO2 emissions: “Enissions did rise significantly, between 1914 and 1964, driven by rapid industrialization, population growth, and increased fossil fuel use in the US and Europe, with temporary dips during the Great Depression and WWII, but a strong rebound led to record levels by the mid-20th century, setting the stage for today’s accelerating climate challenge”.
