VERTICAL SCALE WAS USED TO EXAGGERATE RATE OF CO2 EMISSIONS
The graph below has been drawn using a vertical scale of approximately 20 ppm every 10 years which gives the impression that emissions are out of control. This graph is conservative compared to others we have seen with a diagonal line just under 45 degrees who have been able to exaggerate the anual rate of CO2 emissions even further. Though they won’t say as much these graphs have been deliberately overstated to make people aware of the threat of increasing global temperatures due to the overuse of Fossil Fuels. NOAA, to their credit, have confirmed this by the insertion of a grey line graph at the bottom of this chart.

Vertical and Line Graph Comparisons
Carbon Dioxide, vital to plant growth is a non accumulative trace gas and has an atmospheric residence period of about seven years. I have yet to see what the overall effect of our 47 % destruction of our trees, trees that take in CO2 and give off oxygen, will be. The long term history of historic CO2 history does not correlate with extreme weather events probably because there is so little of it..

Global temperatures have remained stable at approximately 15.31 C since 1987.
The challenge is what to do with our plastic rubbish that is pouring into our oceans and waterways and then broken down into micro plastics that we ingest from our dinner plates.

Fifty years from 1914 to 1964 and only 19 ppm equals a very stable climate.
296 ppm in 1900 to 370 ppm in 2000 a difference of only 74 ppm in 100 years. That is an average of 0.74 ppm per year. This period would have included the manufacture of armenents for the first and second world wars, the nuclear age, post war boom and a burgeoning world population.
If you doubled 74 ppm you would still have nothing. Every thing we touch today has been made with fossel fuels. Especially plastic packaging and bottles with at least half ocean bound.
