NOAA TEMPERATURE DATA WAS ALTERED TO SHOW WARMING IN US

Scientists said that the latest study below does not contradict an earlier report showing, within the “Lower 48″ part of the United States, that showed no evidence of a warming trend over the last century up to 1987. The study had shown that the average temperature records in the lower United States had fluctuated around a fairly stable century-long average of 52.5 degrees F (11.38 C). The revised graph below, also from NOAA, shows a 0.60 degrees Fahrenheit rate of warming per century. Warming was created by dropping temperatures in 1895 then raising them towards 52.5 C the average in the previous report below.

The idea of warming across the world had not been thought of for most of this period and a rate of warming in US had to be created by altering temperatures.

According to NOAA data the average temperature has increased by about 0.6 F since record keeping began in 1895; where most of the increase has occurred since about 1970. However, this does not agree with the original NOAA records which had shown there had been no warming in the US between 1895-1987.

The conclusive findings of this research are that the three GAST (Global Average Surface Temperature) data sets are not a valid representation of reality. In fact, the magnitude of their historical data adjustments, that removed their cyclical temperature patterns, are totally inconsistent with published and credible U.S. and other temperature data. Thus, it is impossible to conclude from the three published GAST data sets that recent years have been the warmest ever – despite current claims of record setting warming.

That is made even more true given that 71% of the earth’s surface is ocean and the only ocean data prior to the satellite era began in the 1970s was limited to ship routes mainly near land in the northern hemisphere.

This is a problem for the global warming brigade. United States was supposed to be the largest emitter of Carbon Dioxide, especially after 1940, but the NOAA graph shows no warming in this period.

  2. Reed Walters says:

NOAA’s way of creating warming is to lower past temperatures while increasing the present. It is time for these people to be called to account.

  3. Dean says:

It should be noted that NOAA had taken over temperature data from a number of Australian airports with many showing inflated temperatures compared to others at similar latitudes.
